 Argentina erased them. 🇦🇷😤

In 1800 one in three Argentinians was Black. In some provinces Black Africans made up half the population.

Today Argentina is 0.37% Black.

They did not leave.

Black men were placed at the front of every war and died in disproportionate numbers. Then the government announced el blanqueamiento — the whitening — and wrote it in official documents. Six million Europeans were imported specifically to replace the Black population.

Those who survived were excluded from schools, churches and public spaces. Then written out of the history books entirely.

But here is what they could not erase.

The tango — the dance the whole world associates with Argentina — was created by Black Argentines in the neighbourhoods where they were forced to live. Argentina sold it to the world as European culture. The creators had already been erased.

They are still there. Still demanding to be seen.

They were always there. They built Argentina. 🇦🇷

Refugee influx and high number of Immigrant

The presence of foreign entities exploiting Africa's mineral and raw material resources has triggered conflicts and led to the installation of foreign agents in presidential positions, enforcing compliance with external agendas. This has resulted in many Africans being displaced and seeking better opportunities elsewhere. Consequently, a significant influx of refugees and immigrants has been observed in various countries, often entering without proper documentation and contributing to increased crime rates. South Africa has now reached a breaking point. What strategies can be employed to mitigate the flow of refugees and immigrants, and what solutions do you propose to address this complex issue? #southafrican #imigrantes #refugees #WorldNews #africa

Colonialism Propaganda

Propaganda is one of the tools utilized by colonialists to rename heroes in their countries and globally, leveraging media platforms to disseminate false information. Idi Amin, after defeating and expelling the British Empire and its associates (Indians), modestly referred to himself as 'The Conqueror of the British Empire'. This declaration prompted the British Empire to devise a war against him and tarnish his reputation by spreading falsehoods. #BritishEmpire #Uganda #africa #WorldNew

They called it “civilization.” On April 13, 1919, British troops trapped thousands of unarmed Indians inside Jallianwala Bagh and opened fire without warning. Men. Women. Children. Over a century later, many still ask: Why has there never been full accountability for one of the British Empire’s darkest massacres?

What do you think: Should former colonial powers apologize and pay reparations for historical atrocities?

10-Year Operation: How Modern Intelligence Tracked a Target Across 3 Countries (2001-2011)

**The Decade That Changed Intelligence Work** From 2001 to 2011, one operation stretched across mountains, deserts, and war rooms. It became a case study for how modern intelligence agencies track targets across multiple countries. **Key Lessons From the 10-Year Timeline:** **1. Patience beats speed** Intelligence work isn’t about quick wins. Teams spent years analyzing patterns, communications, and movement. The operation shows why long-term strategy matters more than short-term action. **2. Technology + Human Intel** Satellite images, data analysis, and local sources all worked together. This mission is still taught in military academies as the blueprint for combining tech with ground intelligence. **3. Global cooperation** The timeline crossed 3 countries and multiple agencies. It proved that international coordination is critical for complex operations. **Why History Students Still Study This** May 2, 2011 marked the end of a 10-year search. But the methods, mistakes, and strategy from 2001-2011 are now textbook material for geopolitics and military history courses. **Question for readers:** What’s the biggest lesson YOU think governments learned about intelligence work after this decade-long operation? Drop your thoughts in comments below 👇 --- *Tags: History, Documentary, World History, Military History, Geopolitics, US History, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Historical Events, Intelligence*

D-Day June 6 1944: Operation Overlord and the Normandy Landings That Freed Europe

D-Day Victory: June 6 1944 - The Day Europe’s Liberation Began 🌊⚔️ June 6, 1944. 2:00 AM. The sky over Normandy was full of paratroopers. By 6:30 AM, 156,000 Allied soldiers were storming 5 beaches. By nightfall, Operation Overlord had succeeded. D-Day didn’t just win a battle. It started the liberation of Europe. **What Was D-Day?** D-Day = "Operation Overlord". The largest amphibious invasion in history. Allied forces from USA, UK, Canada, France and others crossed the English Channel to attack Nazi-occupied France. The goal: open a "Second Front" and crush Germany from the west. If D-Day failed, WW2 could have lasted 2 more years. **The 5 Beaches of Normandy** The Allies hit 5 beaches, each with a code name: 1. **Utah Beach** - US forces. Fewest casualties. 2. **Omaha Beach** - US forces. "Bloody Omaha". 2,000+ died here in one day. 3. **Gold Beach** - British forces 4. **Juno Beach** - Canadian forces 5. **Sword Beach** - British + French commandos Soldiers landed under machine gun fire, artillery, and mines. Many never made it past the sand. **Why D-Day Mattered** Before June 6, 1944, Nazi Germany controlled most of Europe. After D-Day: 1. Allies gained a foothold in France 2. Liberation of Paris started 2 months later 3. Germany was forced to fight on 2 fronts: East vs Russia, West vs Allies 4. The war ended 11 months later in May 1945 Winston Churchill called it "the most difficult and decisive battle of the war." **The Cost of Freedom** D-Day victory came at a price: - 4,414 Allied soldiers confirmed dead on day 1 - 9,000+ wounded or missing - 425,000 more troops waited offshore, ready to land Yet those 156,000 men knew the odds. They went anyway. Because some things are worth dying for. **Legacy Today** Normandy beaches are still there. The bunkers. The cemeteries. The waves. Every June 6th, veterans and world leaders stand on those beaches. Not to celebrate war. To remember the cost of freedom. D-Day reminds us: liberation doesn’t come easy. It comes because ordinary people choose to do extraordinary things. **Final Thought** One day. 24 hours. The course of world history changed. If you’re reading this in a free country, thank a D-Day soldier. What’s 1 story about D-Day that moves you most? Operation Hydra

Operation Hydra 1943: The Night That Crippled Germany’s V-2 Rocket Program August 17, 1943. One mission changed the course of WW2. Most people know about D-Day and Stalingrad. Few know about Operation Hydra. Yet this one night of bombing may have saved thousands of lives in London. **What Was Operation Hydra?** Operation Hydra was a massive RAF bombing raid on Peenemünde, a secret German research base on the Baltic coast. Peenemünde was where Nazi Germany developed the V-1 "buzz bomb" and V-2 rocket. The V-2 was the world’s first long-range ballistic missile. If launched on schedule, it would have hit London months earlier and in far greater numbers. **The Raid** 596 RAF Lancaster and Halifax bombers took off under cover of darkness. Their target wasn’t a city. It was a lab. The plan was risky: bomb the

D-Day 1944: How 150,000 Allied Troops Stormed Normandy Beaches

On June 6, 1944, thousands of Allied ships crossed the English Channel in the largest amphibious invasion in history. Under relentless enemy fire, they bombarded the Normandy coast, shattered German defenses, and delivered more than 150,000 troops into the fight to liberate Europe. By dawn, over 5,000 ships and landing craft hit 5 beaches: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, Sword. The cost was brutal - especially at Omaha Beach - but the gamble worked. Within weeks, the Allies broke into France and began pushing Nazi Germany back. This was the day the tide of WW2 turned.
